How do I edit or delete projects, subprojects, tasks, comments or files?

We're sorry but this feature is not currently available. We're building it and you will see it in a few weeks time. Meanwhile, a simple workaround is to mark these tasks as complete and make new ones.

How do I edit milestones?

Open the calendar and click on the milestone you want to edit. You'll see a pop up.

How do you find my company domain owner?

We do whois search. So if you are companyX.com, we do a whois search for the person that owns the companyX.com domain. This is typically a CEO/CIO or a system admin.

When I requested to become the Intranet Manager, my request went to my "company domain owner" but no email was listed. Who did the request go to?

This means that your company's domain information is not available publicly. In this case we do manual check to ensure that only authorized individuals can become Intranet Managers. This takes some time but we try and get this done as soon as possible. You can help speed up this process by directing to us the right person in your company.

These milestones show as Upcoming (Blue), Overdue (Red) and Completed (Green). Plus you can attach tasks to Remindo Milestones, allowing you to breakdown a project into granular details. This too is viewable across the project team. This simple yet powerful visibility allows the project manager or even the the company CEO to stay clued into the project details and help move things along; and it allows project team members to better co-ordinate their tasks and milestones with each other.

Why can't I sign up with my regular email like a gmail or yahoo account?

Remindo has been designed for companies, so only people who share a company email id can get access to that particular company's information on Remindo.

I am a freelancer/volunteer and I don't have a company email id. Does this mean I can't use Remindo?

You will not be able to sign up directly with Remindo using a non-company email id (like a gmail/yahoo/msn account). But, you can always be invited to a project on Remindo. So, if someone in your team, or your client, is on Remindo, they can always invite you, allowing you to access the project, join and comment on discussions, and interact with the company's employees that have access to the project.

What is a 'company network'? Is it like an intranet?

Exactly! You can think of it as an online intranet but it so much more. Suppose you work for a company called UberArt.net and you sign up on Remindo with this company email id - say adam@uberart.net. This will establish what we call a 'company intranet' on Remindo called UberArt.net intranet. Now if anyone with an email ending in uberart.net joins Remindo, they will be automatically placed in this intranet.

What is a project? What is a subproject? I'm confused!

Its simple actually. Projects and subprojects are practically the same in function. That is to say that both give you access to the same features. It just depends on how you want to organize yourself. Typically, within a company intranet, people create a hierarchy of "projects" that roughly resembles their company's organizational chart. So its common to see projects like Marketing, Sales, HR, Design etc. Then, these companies create subprojects within these projects.

Do I need to download and install something to use Remindo?

Nothing at all. All you need is a web browser and an internet connection and you are ready to go.

How much does Remindo cost?

Remindo is FREE to use! There are no limits on the number of projects or number of users that you can sign up for.

If its free, what's the catch?

There's no catch, but for now we have capped the overall free storage for company intranets at 3 GB. Now that's a lot of free space! Soon we will offer a premium company intranet account that will increase the storage space and also bring a host of other features.

I want to run Remindo from my own servers, how do I do this?

Sorry, Remindo is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering and can only be accessed from the internet. Of course, our servers are managed by Amazon and communication is secured by a 128 bit VeriSign SSL certification. Can your security match this?

How do I know how good your security is?

You can read about our security structure in detail here. Briefly, we store all your data on Amazon S3 servers, and use the Amazon EC2 technology. All of this comes with high standard security. Why? How do I use Remindo as a client extranet?

Just start a project/subproject and invite your clients through the 'people' tab within the project. You can start as many projects as you want - each with different clients. Everyone will get their own private views and will only be able to see what you let them see. Besides it's extremely secure and if you are the kind who needs to send large files all the time, Remindo lets you upload files of up to 200 MB.

There are so many PM tools out there. What's different about Remindo?

The simple and pretty ones don't really have enough features and the really powerful ones are so hard to use that employees eventually stop using them. How do I add people to my CHAT contact list?

You don't have to! Remindo CHAT will automatically add everyone in your company intranet to your CHAT contact list. It will sort them according to the company intranet they belong to.

Will I get spam/malware?

Since only people in your company intranet can post stuff here, Remindo is absolutely spam and malware free.

How long does it take to setup my Remindo account?

Its a breeze. It literally takes just seconds. Just sign up with your company email address and verify your account by clicking on the link in the email sent to you. Don't forget to invite your colleagues. Once you are inside Remindo, start by clicking on the calendar to assign milestones and tasks to your team.

How do I get people outside of my company intranet to join my team on Remindo?

Just invite them from the 'people' tab inside any project. You will need to click on the 'add new user' button and then click on the 'don't see all the people you need? Click here to invite more' link. You can then go ahead and enter the email addresses of people you want to invite under the 'Invite partners to join your project' heading.
