As 2025 has come to a close, we at Remindo look back on a year in which digital assessment and examination continued to grow in both scale and adoption. Together with educational institutions, examination providers, and training organizations, we once again took essential steps toward organizing assessment in a reliable, accessible, and efficient way.
The past year was characterized by more intensive platform use, further development of assessment processes, and a clear focus on user experience across all roles involved. At the same time, we worked step by step on innovation, always with close attention to the day-to-day reality of education professionals and candidates alike.
Below, we reflect on what we achieved together in 2025 and look ahead to what 2026 will bring.
Our year in numbers
In 2025, Remindo was widely used throughout the entire assessment lifecycle. A total of 10.504.141 tests and examinations were delivered this year. A significant portion of these were formative assessments, with 6.229.822 formative tests taken, an increase of 38% compared to 2024. The number of exams also grew: 1.188.577 were delivered, a 15% increase from 2024. In addition, 3.085.742 practice tests were taken.

These figures show that Remindo is not only used for summative assessment, but also plays a vital role in the learning process, with practice and formative evaluation embedded as standard components of educational programs.
The platform was used intensively in 2025 by both candidates and education professionals. In total, users logged in 14.796.764 times, across 1.374.933 unique users. This highlights Remindo’s role as a daily working tool within educational institutions and examination organizations.

Behind the scenes, the platform continued to grow. The largest question bank belonging to a single customer contained 405.130 exam questions. Across all customers, Remindo grew to total of 2.642.560 exam questions. This scale enables structural safeguards for assessment quality and careful management of question reuse.

One remarkable detail from 2025 is the number of perfect scores. In total, 15.697 exams were completed with a maximum score, moments where preparation, assessment quality, and delivery aligned perfectly.

Innovation in use
Although the new assessment delivery design was not yet enabled by default in 2025, 52% of all assessments were already delivered in this redesigned environment. This shows that many organizations are consciously choosing innovation and taking steps toward a more modern and accessible assessment experience for candidates.
New features in 2025
In 2025, our focus was not only on scale, but above all on quality, accessibility, and ease of use.
New design
One of the most significant developments was the redesign of the assessment delivery interface for candidates. This new design is the result of extensive testing and close collaboration with launching customers, and was developed based on the latest insights in user experience and accessibility. The assessment interface was redesigned to provide a calm, clear, and consistent experience regardless of the candidate's device.
All existing functionality has been retained and is primarily available in familiar locations, making the transition feel intuitive. At the same time, visual improvements make answer selection clearer, while subtle animations support interaction without causing distraction.
A key component of the redesign is the completely new accessibility menu, which includes a true dyslexia-friendly font. The design is based on WCAG guidelines and offers improved contrast by default, clearer buttons, and full keyboard navigation.
In addition, the assessment interface has been optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, ensuring a pleasant experience across all screen sizes. By using side panels for elements such as instruction texts and PDF documents, the interface has become calmer, allowing candidates to focus more effectively on the assessment content.
The new design was deliberately not activated by default in 2025. Organizations can decide for themselves when to switch and may continue using the previous design in the meantime. In upcoming releases, all remaining candidate-facing pages will be gradually updated to the new style.
Alongside the redesign, several functional improvements were also introduced. For example, the calculator was fully redesigned and visually aligned with the new interface, while its functionality remained unchanged. It also became possible to enable the new interface for the candidate results page, allowing organizations to choose their own transition moment.
Plans for 2026
New releases
In 2026, we will continue to build on Remindo with a strong focus on stability, predictability, and controlled innovation. We plan six more minor releases, each delivering a clearly defined set of improvements. Every release will be available on the Preview environment two weeks in advance, giving users ample time to review and test changes before they go live.
A key priority for 2026 is the continued rollout of the new candidate design. We will also continue to invest in clear and transparent communication around releases. Through support.remindo.com, users can access the knowledge base and follow specific sections, such as the up-to-date release notes.
Thank you!
None of these steps would have been possible without the trust and engagement of our users. The way educational institutions, examination offices, exam providers, and training providers use Remindo, test new features, and provide feedback is a crucial part of our development process.
Thank you for working with us in 2025. We look forward to continuing to build together in 2026 on a reliable, accessible, and well-organized assessment.
